Dutch Brutal/Death/Metal/Thrash | 21.04.2017 | Patronaat, Haarlem NL

On friday the 21st of April Ecocide had their comeback show, reporter Dirk Kremers from Dutch/Brutal/Death/Metal/Thrash was present on this evening. After a two year break the men from Ecocide figured it was time to breath new life into their band. The comeback was heavily celebrated in the Patronaat café by fans, friends, family and other bystanders.

At around 7 PM the doors opened. Half an hour later Dauthuz kicked the evening off to supply everyone present with a dose of Metal for the rest of the evening. Unfortunately I had to miss this act. I arrived at 8:30 PM in the Patronaat in Haarlem. Ecocide's show began a little later and many fans had already gathered. There was a lot of interest from the fans to see Ecocide return. The gentlemen from the band were enthusiastic as well, ready to blow off the roof. Nearly not a single song was left out after two years and it sounded just like back in the old days. Especially the teamwork between the band impressed me. They definitely blew up the roof. Here and there were a few technical issues but nobody seemed to mind. The show was played really well and there was much focus on the band. The crowd went wild like animals out of appreciation and liking for the band. Everyone present received a heavy dose of death metal played on a professional level. Fans were happy and thankful.

When Ecocide finished there was one last show by the band Dystopia. Unfortunately I wasn't present at this gig.

As of now Ecocide's brand new lyric video for their newest track "The Godhand" is available on YouTube.
